About Me

Hey all, I', in two new bands here in Santa Fe, The Maruties, and Wakamol. Check us out when you get a chance.John began seriously playing guitar at the age of 18. While sitting around the campsite at the Philedelphia Folk Festival, he was handed a guitar and told he could play the two chords he knew, as long as he played quietly. Since that moment, John has practiced insatiably, so that if the chance came again, he could wow the audiences. He learned by busking the streets of most major cities across the US, before becoming a student of Eric Redding in Alaska, were he learned the true secrets of what it really means to be a musician. He loves to play both acoustic and electric guitars, and has recently fallen in love with the electric bass, the banjo, and the mandolin. John is the guy who loves going from jam session to jam session all day (and night) at festivals, and find immense joy in informal jams at other musicians houses. He also loves to rock out loud with any number of different musicians anywere he can. While he is an acomplished rythem player, and soloist, he is constantly attempting to find new ways to express himself in a never ending quest to get the music inside his head out. He enjoys playing in numerous styles, ranging from psychedilic rock to bluegrass to jazz. He just loves to make people shake their booties. found this stars layout at HOT FreeLayouts.com
