Influences:nku arttv artalaskacincinnati exhibitFavorite band is England's Iona. Influenced over the years by a number of artists and styles including the early works of: Gentle Jiant, Yes, King Crimson, Genesis, Jethro Tull, Gong, Soft Machine, Frank Zappa, the Mothers of Invention, Talking Heads, Peter Gabriel. Also creative artists such as: Henry Cow, Fred Frith, Brian Eno, Laurie Anderson, Nomeansno, Negetiveland, the Residents. Favorite jazz artists are: Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk. Classical: Igor Stravinsky, Steve Reich, Karlheinz Stockhausen, Maurice Ravel, Claude Debussy, Ravi Shankar, Modest Mussorgsky.
Sounds Like: Someone with a GarageBand iMac home studio, some instruments and a lot of time. Some heavy guitars with lots of psychelidic keyboard sounds under happy pop melodies with some creative musical ideas. Sometimes you can hear hints of jazz and classical with some severe techno and agressive noises. Sweet ballads and industrial madness meets 70's and 80's retro artsy stuff.
