ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born in 1970 in Chicago, immigrated to the UK in the early 90s.
Studied oil painting and printmaking privately with artist
Annette Johnson in Greenwich, London. The work is in
private collections in the US, UK, and Japan and is represented
or exhibited regularly by galleries in London and
southeast England. It has also been exhibited at the
Dulwich Picture Gallery, National Maritime Museum and with
the Pastel Society and Royal Society of Marine Artists at
the Mall Galleries.
ABOUT THE PAINTINGS
Recent paintings are an exploration of the relationship
between horizontals on the picture plane, including the
top and bottom edges of the canvas. In the English Coast
series, different areas represent proportions of shore,
water and sky.
