DJ since 1993 and straight into the "Quebecois" jungle , Freeken has shown his value for awhile. All began in 1996 when André Vinet offers him the house DJ position of the Ovni Night Club, wich rolls at full capacity. In 1997, he will joins an association of Quebec DJ's, DJ Network, for whom he will produce in different clubs of Montreal and Laval. It will serve him to move to Montreal where since 1997 he is part of the clubs and private parties of the city´s upper crust. Add fashion shows, soundtracks for dance troops and theater companies and you will have an idea of his production capabilities.In 2000, he organizes Maisonneuve college radio, only electronic music broadcast : "Da Freeken Tribe". A runaway success, supported by local promoters (Productions 514 and Ray Junior Production). After a brief but noticed stint at the Fuzzy Night Clubs, He decided to concentrate on international events , DeeJaying ,promotions and public relations. DJ Freeken distinguished himself as the helm of the Xbox tours of 2001 and 2002 , Boomerang, Blue Dry as well at the 100% Pub festival(Adnight). In 2003, he helps the FIDO company in its promotional restructuring. Thereafter, he collaborated with Musique Plus as a promotional agent and DJ for the launchings of movies of Alliance-Atlantis.He created, in 2003, with his colleague and singer, Isaac Aylestock, the Harmony Street Records label, in honor of the street where Freeken lives and produces since 1999. 2004 will be a full year. The fruits of the labors seem ripe for the picking. He will become Director of the communications and marketing for Zoom Concepts. He will learn, thanks to André Cloutier, the workings of producing events under marquee as well as a wider vision and greater knowledge of international events. After having getting the helm of resident DJ of the well-known Bar Chez Maurice, Boomerang Gala of Exellence, that rewards Web and multimedia artists , to ask him and his colleague Dr.Drum (Allan Rhéaume) to produce the evening of the Official reception and the party after. A couple of weeks later, the same Dynamic Duo will produce de New Year's Party for the TVA Television Network. Since the Blue Dry 2002 tour, Freeken and Dr.Drums have collaborated to produce event and remixes.The year 2005 starts with an all new collaboration, none other than, Esteban Rockett. Owner of Rockett music and co-founder of NYC Rhythm, he will give him a chance to DJ in New York. DJ Freeken, DJ Rockett and DJ Louie Morales Jr will produce an evening in the excellent Swing 46 Night Club. The people sing their own lyrics on Freeken and Rockett's compositions, the winner wins a prize and a and copies of their albums. After New York , in the end of May 2005, Rockett and Freeken with a new partner, Hugo Chevrette, establishes Fashiondjs.com production company, where the experience of each is put to contribution. Hugo C. is then our new weapon, as our audio software guru as well as our House/funky DJ. Freeken will be therefore co-producer and House/Electro/Progressif style DJ and Rockett, executive producer Soulful/Deep House DJ. In 2006, after the fashiondjs experience, Freeken concentrate on his music production, with his label, Harmony Street Records.
