Dedi Madden is a songwriter, singer and guitarist, in no specific order.SONGWRITING- To date, Dedi has written 200 songs. His recent co-writes include: * "Home" - Dedi contributed the haunting melody to this much-acclaimed leading track from "When It Falls" by Zero 7, so effortlessly delivered by Tina Dico. * "Beautiful Day" - a tune produced by Henry Binns for Mozez' album "So Still". * "Secrets" - this song, written with Sia Furler, is a cut on the debut album by captivating new NYC artist Alice Smith (Secrets was NPR's song of the day in August). * "Throw It All Away" & "If I Can't Have You" - two songs, featuring the inimitable Sia, from the new Zero 7 album "The Garden". * "Rust" - also sung by Dedi on the sublime album "The Marylebone Greenwave" by Post Office.ZERO 7- During the making of their first album, Dedi helped Sam and Henry out with guitar sessions, mostly for the love of it, and played on "I Have Seen", "In the Waiting Line", "Distractions" and "Salt Water Sound". A year later they were on the road together. Since then Dedi has done all the live shows and added his flavour to the next two albums, "When It Falls" and "The Garden".PAST PROJECTS- Others sessions on guitar, vocals and bass include Tricky, Roger Waters, Natalie Imbruglia, Tiz, Sara Schiralli and Mozez. Fans of XFM may also remember "Sensitive"- the single from Figboy, Dedi's late 90's project with producer Brian Rose.
