We were actively involved in our local church choir from the ages of 7,10 and 11. We use to put on family shows for our parents each week as children and enjoyed making up our own music. We choreographed and took part in a musical repertoire namely West Side Story, together with other church members within the choir. On request we use to sing at weddings every Saturday sometime 3 and 4 in a day. Because we self taught ourselves to sing in three different ranges we were able to be a part of Cantatas, evening songs and some of the most celebrated musical events within the Anglican churchs calendar.1981 Present
We moved away from home and decided to join another local church where we are still active members for the past 22 years along with our children. We have organised many musical performances such as `Joseph and his Technicolor Dream Coat, Jonah and the Whale, Oklahoma and many more for charities. We have been a part of school workshops teaching children of all ages to sing and dance.1979-87
We teamed up with a group called `One Blood who encouraged us to remake a record called `Ring My Bell Lover Rock style, which climbed to number 2 within the reggae charts and was recognised within the national charts. In 1980 we were voted the best female vocalists within the reggae industry and made public appearances in the west end to sign records, autographs. We were activly involved in radio interviews and enjoyed answering questions our fans wanted to know. We were signed up on the Ballistic label, which was a franchise of the United Artist label who unfortunately went into liquidation later. But it didn't deter us from creating other successful hits namely,`What about me , Id Rather go blind, My Guy, My love dont come easy, Dont say Goodbye, Just let me love you and The nights are so lonely on The Sound City label.If you wanna know more, leave us a message and you never know we could be calling you soon.God Bless you allLove The Blood Sisters. x x x
