The band originally started out as Felix Lawrie and Henry Ryan, two young extremists beginning their journey into the world of Metal. Fanatics of Metallica and Megadeth, their metal vocabulary slowly increased, as they discovered a wide range of the loudest, most extreme music created. Starting at school at the age of twelve together, they developed great guitar playing together. Throughout their pre-16 education they wowed listeners and helped promote a new wave of an old generation of music.
From time to time a drummer came, not made a mark and left - but finally, as of January 2007, Brutai have found a permenant drummer. Michael Dummett is a drummer who plays with new levels of agression, technique and speed, and rivals the band's enthusiasm and dedication. The band live and breath music and give a hundred percent, whatever their state of mind. Mike Crouchman completes the line up on bass, a friend of Michael Dummett's, who is not only a great bassist but someone who also has a great ear for rhythm and music.
