the moth

"the moth" is Erika Alexandersson and Martin Öhman. After meeting in a so called Folkhögskola in Skåne we, a few years later, decided to form a duo. At first the music was acoustic (it still is sometimes...), but after a while as moth´s do "the moth" went through a transformation and reinkarnated as an impro/electronica duo. We only use live-electronics, no pree recorded tracks, not that it is anything wrong with it, we just like the creating in the spur of the moment type of thing... Erika make sounds with her voice and various pedals and Martin plays electrified acoustic (meaning no pads...) drums+live-electronics. Hope you enjoy our music!
