Kahkhe Ghazal signifies a New Generation of Poets, expressing their emotions through poetry. This group gathers on continuous occasions to bring forward a side of poetry seldom portrayed elsewhere. Through innovative choreography we try to use the art of poetry to bring forward matters of life that most have experienced, only more so through analogy and metaphors. We cordially invite you to join us young poets, and share the passion of poetry in Kakhe Ghazal, the Castle of Lyrics. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----- The founder, leader and pillar of the group Dr. Mehdi Davoudi, has gathered the rest of the team to bring forward his vision of expressing arts. He seeks to find and portray Natural Talents in Music and Poetry, and expose them to an appreciative audience, without the risk of exploitation. Dr. Davoudi has collaborated with several of the major Persian artists in supplying them lyrics for their albums. Songs that we may have all heard are at times the writings of Dr. Davoudi. ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------Through our different events, we have had the pleasure to guest major Persian artists and host renowned Persian Musicians to perform with us. The pictures of these events can be seen in the picture section. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------- The Members of Kakhe Ghazal are, ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------- Raha Etemadi – A highly talented young artists that writes poetry and lyrics in Farsi. Mr. Etemadi has the voice and the sense of Poetry and he has the ability to turn any event in to a beautiful prose. A aspiring talent that will have a great future in the Persian music industry. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------------------------Si avash Habibi – A highly gifted musician that expresses his poetry in English. He writes his own lyrics and makes his own music which resonate originality and calmness. Mr. Habibi often makes music to the lyrics of the other members and performs them in either Farsi or English. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------Sahara Monadi – A well renowned artist in the Persian show-business. She is the host of TV channels, she is an actress in Persian as well as Indian movies, and she is featured singing with many of the Persian music artists in their albums. With Kakhe Ghazal, she writes lyrics that bring a smile to your face, or brings men to disgrace. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------------------------------------- Edris Attar – Edris is the musical enlightener of the group, as his tune of Piano and voice can be heard in his performances in Kakhe Ghazal. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------ Sami Beigi – As an aspiring Persian artist, this highly talented youth brings something unique to the stage with his distinct voice and music. Mr. Beigi also writes his own lyrics on which he applies his own melody. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ In loving memory of the late, great member of the Group, Mahyar Moghadam, May him Rest in Peace. He was a driving force and an inspiration to all of the members of Kakhe Ghazal.----------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------- Marmar Soheili - We would like to take this opportunity to thank Marmar Soheili, who has performed with the group on occasions. She amazes us all when she makes artwork with her words. Her English lyrics have raised the attention of international artists as well as Persian ones. We wish her happiness and further success.
