The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is my main source of news, and that's sad that the only unbiased news show on tv is a fake news show on the Comedy Channel.
I also watch South Park, Two and a Half Men, Supernatural, Lost, Battlestar Galactica, La Femme Nikita (off the air), Painkiller Jane, the Simpsons, and my guilty pleasure Buffy the Vampire Slayer (also off the air).

The Dark Tower, American Gods, Dune, the DaVinci Code, the Sparrow, the Lord of the Rings, in my youth anything by Edgar Rice Burroughs, the Hero With a Thousand Faces and anything else on mythology.

Heroes:
All legends and all mythology probably have their bases in fact and in real people. I would like to meet those people and learn who they really are.
And for those stories which were made up solely as entertainment or moral stories, I would enjoy meeting their creators.
