A strange question. Sometimes it's not wise to meet your 'heroes'..your expectations might not reflect the occasion you may have expected. Or you could be drowned in inspiration. I've had both.
A better story..
I was driving to the Nine Inch Nails gig at the Boondall Entertainment Centre when my sound engineering friend 'B' (not his real name) rang from the Tarago van whilst he was driving Mr. Reznor & co. to the venue, asking if I might have some..er 'freshness of scandinavia' for Trent & the boys after the gig. Alas, I did not. And one does not ask to hang once it's established one cannot abide with the initial request. Similar calls was also made at later times for Slash & the Velvet Revolver boys, Mark Knoffler from Dire Straits..and funny as all fookery..Bette Middler. Tee Hee indeed. O.k., i'll play ball. I'll be a boy and say Fammke Jansen, Madeline Stowe in her "Last of the Mohicans' era..and even though friends have worked with/met her, an adolescent intrigue for Adalita from Magic Dirt still exists. Strong, unique striking features is my eye's sexy and strong women with low and highbrow art and culture love and knowledge in tact with a penchant for the verbal riff on the fly are my mind's sexy that almost makes the other points irrelevant.
For the men, Eddie Izzard, Bill Bailey from Black Books and Ben Elton I guess. Stop thinking that, that's just silly... I met the lads from that Welsh treat of a band, Mclusky..they are the sanest, most generous with their wit and wisdom men on the planet...rest in peace you fine men of rock.
