My name is Sammy Giaccotto, I am a musician/songwriter/producer, just like everyone else seems to be these days! I started out playing the piano at age 7, did the whole classical music thing then moved onto other genre's.
At an early age I began sequencing and recording, played in a few bands with my bro on drums, now I enjoy recording and producing music in my own studio, Peak Time Productions.
I play keys in a progressive metal band from Melbourne called Eyefear. We recently completed another album called "the unseen" which will be out this october, it was recorded by yours truly and mixed by Tommy Hansen. You can also check out my music on a few tv shows, MXTV, The Davinci Cup and the 2007 series of Fat Pizza.
ABOUT THE SONGS ON MY PAGE: 1st track is the promo for the new Eyefear album titled "the unseen". Album will be released on November 7, 2008 on the Dockyard1 label.
I recorded the song/snipet "give it up, she likes me" for my brother to put up on his myspace. We set up Dave's drums in the garrage, he played some grooves then I put some John Cusak and Christopher Walkin samples over the top, this is what happens when 2 people feel like killing a bit of time and having a laugh as well! We are both fans of Cusak and Walkin so sifting through the samples I made in itself was worth it!Cheers,SammyG
