I was born an raised in Washington, DC. I've lived here all of my life. Worked at several jobs throughout my career, the longest being Air Line Pilots Association.Once I left the association after fifteen years, I ventured into lots of other projects. I even decided to get some education in Business Management and Internet Marketing. I taught myself HTML, Javascript and CSS so I could design web sites for others and make a little money.
Eventually I decided not to put all of my eggs in one basket and joined several affiliate programs. You can read more about them by visiting my blog. After several years of gaining knowledge about internet marketing and web design, I decided to start my own company and create a website called Laprial's Fortune, LLC which is a learning site pertaining to affiliate marketing. I created the site so I could share my knowledge with others that are just getting started or individuals that would like to branch out further with their internet marketing skills.
Everything works out with a lot of determination, and I have plenty of it! There's a phrase that I learned some years ago that I keep in mind!
According to aerodynamic laws, the bumblebee cannot fly. Its body weight is not the right proportion to its wingspan. Ignoring these laws, the bee flies anyway.
- M. Sainte-Lague
Once I learned 'The Secret' , I've been flying every since then. I'm even a member of the Cambridge Book of Who's Who for 2007-2008!
In March 2008, I became the Training Coach for Greenwood Health Systems.
When I'm not busy with my programs, I spend most of my time with my grand-daughter who is currently a toddler. I enjoy teaching her all sorts of things. She currently knows two languages American Sign Language and English. Every so often she will also say something in Spanish or Chinese. The sign language started March of 2006, because of something I read about babies communicating with their hands before they can even talk. It really works!!! The site is called My Baby Can Talk. It's also supposed to make their IQ higher and I've noticed that she doesn't miss a thing! She now knows all her basic colors, has been able to recognize the spelling of her name since she was about 11 months old (she just turned 3 in April'2008). She knows lots of animals in American Sign Language. We are still working on verbally saying Hippopotamus though! My daughter-n-law told me that my grand-daughter was given an IQ test and she qualifies as an advanced 3 year old. I guess teaching her that sign language really did work. She even knows how to play games on the computer!
