I like lots of different music, with a penchant for indie music that is weird/catchy/pretty/rockin. My favorite band is
the Breeders .
I'll watch just about anything but I have an affinity for Revenge movies, Horror flicks, Comedies, and Dramas that can move me without being emotionally manipulative.Stuff by these guys: Lars Von Trier, Wong Kar Wai, John Waters, Dario Argento, Michel Gondry, Quentin Tarantino, Terry Gilliam, David Cronenberg, Mike Nichols, Hayao Miyazaki, Shunya Ito
Six Feet Under, Futurama, Dexter, Dirt, miscellaneous other shows, the occasional terrible reality program. I've managed to severely cut down my tv intake, woohoo.
Stuff that's kind of dark or whimsical. Lewis Carroll, Patricia Highsmith, Bret Easton Ellis, Amy Tan, Michael Chabon, etc. Don't read a lot of non-fiction, but I like stuff like The Orchid Thief and autobiographies. Right now I'm reading the complete Bone by Jeff Smith. It's neato.
