I am here for Friends

About Me

I'm a simple man. And by simple I don't mean in a Forest Gump kind of way. I get pleasure from the simple things in life. Hearing my son call me daddy, recieving a hug from my mother, hanging out with my friends, making wise cracks with my brother. Simple things. I am a Christian and have been for many years. I received the Lord into my heart in 1990. Not saying that I am the most holy man in the world, I'm not. I'm a human being. I am a man and have temptations. Through all the trials and temptations, I know for certain that the Lord will always be there with His arms open to receive me. I take comfort in that. I like to laugh and make people laugh. Life is too dull without laughter. Laughter makes the world a better place. Also, life is too short to hate. There is no need for it. Anger is normal, but hate is bad. If I can quote Yoda for a moment,"Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to the dark side." I know it sounds funny, but it's true. Hatred will lead you on a direct path to Abyss. Please, don't be hatin'. One more thing, take the time to tell someone close to you that you love them. It can be a family member, friend, lover, whatever. If you have love for them, let them know. You may just turn around one day and they may be gone. I have learned this the hard way. I miss my best friend very much, and I never got to tell him that I loved him. So please take a moment and hug that person and tell them that you love them. Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to take a look. Pax vobiscum.
