A majority of people i meet in Ministry/Skateboarding only communicate through this avenue "myspace" so this is the ONLY reason you see me on here. So if you know me from travels whats up.... if you dont move along and have great day!!!
What ever happened to email?
First and foremost- God has transformed me from having no direction to giving my life a direction, having no purpose to giving my life a purpose and saved me from a life of worthlessness, and has given me everything I need from family to clothes to food. For the last 7 years I have had the privilege of running a ministry where i have seen 1000s of miracles and seen 1000s of people make life changing decisions like i did years ago. When i die i dont want to be known for starting a skateboard company or whatever, but by what i did while i was here on earth to make a differnce for eternity! The bottom line is I will be forever grateful and will serve my savior Jesus Christ until my last dying breath!
Poppa Dee Timeline-
I was born and raised in Lakewood
Fam---Mom-Jean, Pops-Alan, Sis-Deb
1975-present, Skated favorite skateparks "Concrete Wave" "Skatopia" and "Lakewood Center Skatepark" Surfed home break Huntington Beach, and hung out with my OG friends Brian "Trix Luke" Smith, Mark Reeder, Brad Johnson, Larry Pokras, Johnie baker AKA D-BO (the enforcer of the crew).
1978-1983- went to all the backyard parties to watch my favorite punk rock bands of that era "The Adolescents, T.S.O.L., The Vandals, Black Flag, Fear, Dead Kennedys"
1983-1989-DJ in so cal at clubs and parties.
1984=Got first Tattoos by Mark Mahoney. Got many more from Joe Vegas at Burt Grimms, Bob Vessels, Mr. Snickers and more.
1988-Was the DJ for the Band "The Vandals" appeared on the record "Slippery when Ill"
1988-Married to the most awsome Girl in the world "Elene". Would have to be a true statement, to put up with me for 19 years!!! I have four great sons. Christian 18, a senior and owns and operates his skateboard retail business "Downtown Skateshop". Casey 16, who travels with the KKSM. Clayton 14, who helps me on the road with music. Corbin 11, who is the babe of the group and get what he wants.
1993-Moved family from Seal Beach, Ca to Nampa, Idaho.
1999-Opened up "Lucky 88 Skatepark" in Boise, Idaho RIP
2001-Closed "Lucky 88 Skatepark"
2001-Started King of Kings Skateboard company.
2001-King of Kings Skateboard company was changed into King of Kings Skateboard Ministries.
2002-Launched Reliance Skateboards.
2003-2006-Met and partnered with Stephen Baldwin and his Livin it DVD Project.
2003-2006-Toured with Livin It and was demo DJ.
2006-future-Rick Weigele comes on board with the KKSM to help us get to the next level and starting a new era in Skateboard Ministry world wide.
