About Me

Hmm...what is there to say about me? Well, for starters I'm a wife and mom of three wonderful (if not obnoxious as hell) children. They take after their dad...I suppose I am a walking contradiction, and I chock that up to my zodiac chart (I'm a Cancer with Aries Rising). I'm a sports nut, yet I'm deeply intellectual. I'm very temperamental, yet docile. I'm liberal, yet conservative. I'm hyper, yet reserved. I guess I'm shy until I get to know you, and then I'm a huge blabbermouth that you can't get to stop talking! I'm kind of scatterbrained and I'm forever behind on my housework, but I think that's an occupational hazard of being a writer. I try to live my life with an open mind, but once I've made up my decision, it's pretty hard to change it. If you make me feel secure, I'll repay you with my undying loyalty. I don't believe everything society force-feeds me to believe. I make my own choices, even if the consequences suck. I hate following trends just because everyone else is. I revel in being unique and true to myself. I don't have to have designer clothes or the newest cell phone, and I sure as hell don't care what people think about that. My guilty pleasure is cooking decadent food for my friends and loved ones, and with the help of Food Network, I'm improving on my already natural talent! I have a wide variety of interests, but at the top of that list is the occult. I'm deeply fascinated with studying all the religions of the modern and ancient world, and especially their thoughts on the afterlife. In that respect, I don't think any one specific religion is the right one...I think that all of them have worthy ideas. I'm also an astronomy buff; I love learning about anything cosmic and how it affects the Earth. It may sound silly but I'm a little kid at heart and I still love watching Saturday morning cartoons! But I suppose the most important thing I can say here is that I am a good friend.

I AM ASTONISHED

I'm not so naive to think there's not racism anymore. It just floors me when I witness it. Like yesterday, when I was the victim of it. At work, we take donations for a Jewish charity. What they do is...
