Happy Chicano Park Day everybody!

About Me

i never know what too write about myself. i hate every bad -ism in the world (rascism, sexism, etc.). i despise ignorance, and i plain hate stupid people. i love writing, fiction and some poetry. i love when i meet people who feel as i feel about writing and creativity in general. i am shy. i know the people who know me are going to read this and say, "what the fudge is he talking about? he's not shy at all!" but i the truth is, i am shy with new people (as are we all, i think). but i guess both things are true. i'm shy and i'm not. go ahead and figure that one out.so, things of late... i've lost some people (my dad, Imelda), got married (Patty), and have continued through to this point (October 12 as of this writing). some year, huh? i am back online from home again finally, and the apartment Patty and i have shared since getting married is finally starting to come together. October 11th started the beginning of a number of shows we will be attending in the following weeks. we started yesterday with the doves. next week, calexico and iron & wine. the week after, cachao at 4th & B. then, Beck at Rimac. in November, the Roots, Dandy Warhols, and Depeche Mode. weeks and weeks of fun to come
