About Me

Hi, whats up? Well this is where I tell you all about my exciting life and how great it would be to be my friend, and all that? Well, all I can tell you is that I'm just a normal married guy, with a normal married life, and normal married problems....yes we have normal kids too, thank God.
Not that this is a bad thing, in fact I wouldn't trade my life for yours or anyone elses, sheesh who wants YOUR problems, I have enough of my own!!
But in a real sense, I enjoy most every aspect of my life! Even the hard times have turned out to be for the best, and all I can attribute that to is my relationship with God, through Jesus Christ.
Seems like everytime I complain about circumstances or uncontrollable situations in my life, I end up eating my words. I guess there is allot of truth in the saying, "Whatever doesn't kill ya makes ya stronger". At least it has proven true in my life.
Many disagree, but I believe in divine predestination and the notion that wherever you are is exactly where your supposed to be, whether that be in the palace, or under it. Of course, if your under it you just naturally want to get in it, and that's where the "destination" in "predestination" comes from. With God in your life, faith and hope abide, no matter what.
Anyway, I dig all kinds of Rock music, but it's gotta have some wailin' guitar, or you'll get a shrug from me usually. I love 70's and early 80's Metal, it was the best, but some of the 90's alternative stuff does it for me too. Led Zeppelin did it better than anyone else, and I am a Zephead for sure.
I'm a drummer and vocalist and I play around with that as often as I can. IF YOUR IN THE DFW AREA AND WANNA HAVE A JAM SESSION, GIMME A SHOUT, maybe we can hook up! At any rate check it out and if you feel like it wont ruin your rep, leave a message!
P.S. I had a well meaning brother in Christ tell me that my "rock music tastes" do not belong in a religious persons life. I took it as a compliment because I am not a person who is in a religion, I a person who is in a relationship with the creator of the universe. So if you have read this far and feel like this well meaning brother did, consider that Jesus hung out with people who were considered to be sinners by the religious leaders of His day.

Action, sci-fi, action sci fi, sci fi action, fantasy, pychological thrillers....Anything that provides an escape from the everyday. I hate too much "realism" in movies. I get enough "realism" everyday without it entering into my entertainment time.
