Thin Jim and the Castaways is not thought to be a band in the usual term of the word but rather thought as a musical project where the song and the lyrics it self decides on who’s gonna sing or play it. Many solo artists and session players have a hidden artistic voice witch they don’t get an opportunity to push through. This project is thought to serve that voice There fore this is an open vehicle musically for those who like to contribute. The name is in a way very symbolic. Where Thin Jim can be the company or the star and the castaways can be all the people that work behind the scenes but like to step out of the box and!!!!!!
The music is melodic and disciplined performed by highly skilled musicians. The lyrics are meaningful as well as entertaining.
The band has already started work on their first CD and their first single (Last day of spring).
