Prodigal Son

I have now lost the last immediate person in my family. My father the late Bishop Derek L. Franklin. He was my only living hero. I have to trust that God will make my feet big enough to walk in the shoes he has just left at the side of my bed to fill. God of mercy, I am relying on you to make me a vessel of honor for your kingdom. We as men fall short so many times, we get caught up in the cares of this world. We don't wait on God to give us what we need, and make a mess getting it right. We as the people of God need to learn to let Him rule our hearts and minds. The only way to do this is to let his word live in us. The word of God is the plan, is the rule by which we need to live, there is no way around it. We ALWAYS have to go back and do what His word says. We are human, we make mistakes, we just need to better at learning. Pay attention and make sure you tell somebody what God has done for you. Your testimony will help somebody else, possibly keep them for going down the same road. Give Him the glory always.
