About Me
I have been listening to music since an early age, particularly chart music but was introduced to Rave music in 1994 after a school mate brought in three tapes from a recording at World Dance (I’ve still got those tapes lol)!. Since that day I’ve been hooked on the rave music and then in the late 1990’s I became obsessed with Trance and Garage as a result of those early years of listening to commercial chart music.
As a result of this, I wanted to do more than just listen to music so I decided to become a DJ and to start learning how to mix different styles of music. So in early 2000 I bought myself some CD and vinyl decks and started to teach myself along with a little help from some friends of mine who were also DJ’s and were able to give me some advice. After a few months of practicing, I managed to get myself some bookings at small clubs in the local area as well as parties and slowly began to gain more confidence in what I was doing.
I had thrown myself into learning how to mix so I didn’t get round to going to raves just as a raver until the end of 2002 when my friends took me to my first event @ The Sanctuary in Milton Keynes. This is where I got my first real insight into the rave scene and I loved what I saw!
The way I came to be named ‘Deddley’ was a bit of a fluke! One night whilst playing a set at a friends party, someone made a joke that I was deadly on the decks and the name stuck…I just changed the spelling a little bit!!
My first booking was at a rave called Enigma which was organised by close friends and took place at The Imperial Gardens in July 2003. I played in the 3rd arena which was the up and coming arena with Hughesy, but my first main floor booking was at Jellybeanz on Boxing Day 2003. Since then I have been lucky enough to have a few more sets at various raves including HTID, Energise, Cruze-In, Vibealive and many more.
In early 2004 I decided that I wanted to try producing music so I had the opportunity of going in the studio with Hughesy. That track was called ‘Here Once Again’ which was engineered by Ponder but unfortunately this track was never finished but was a good learning curve to move on and produce more tracks in the future.
In late 2004, myself and Hughesy managed to complete a track this time called ‘Infectious’ also engineered by Ponder. This track was finally released in 2007 on a Whojamaflip compilation CD.
Also in 2004, I went in the studio with Gammer after winning the Jellybeanz charity auction. As a result of this, ‘Mars ATX’ was produced and later released on Bonkers 14. It is awaiting release on a label.
Since then I’ve made some more tracks including ‘Plummet’, ‘Power of Choice’, ‘Desire’, ‘Daybreak’ and I’m in the process of making a lot more in the future.
I want to send massive shouts out to my girl Emma (love you always), Hughesy, Laith, Bleakboy, Sian and the Unite crew, Spenno, Vapour, Britney & Vicki, Richard, Peter, Chris, Paul, TC, Luna-C, Ponder, Scar & Uplift, Scampy, Ten-Ton, Tidus, Tuesday, Lisa, Kelly C, Goz, all of my contacts on MSN, everyone on My Space, Maria (Cyber Biaatch), Ravegirl, Mum & Dad, Tony & Naomi, Devil & Ang, Eruption crew, Bubble and the Jellybeanz crew, Chucky, Danish Mike, Leigh Outrage & Denile, Error, Evade, Syko, Mad Maz, Mixman, Obie, Petruccio, Dizzy and to everyone else that I’ve missed (I know there is so many and when I remember who else to put up on here, I will put you up ;o)).

Current Projects: Every Tuesday night you can catch me on Unite Radio www.unite-radio.com from 9pm – 10.30 pm playing a mixed genre of hard dance music and on www.eruptionhardcore.co.uk with Hughesy at 6pm - 8pm Sundays.
Future Plans I am due to go into the studio with Ponder to add the finishing touches to a couple of tracks made by myself, Hughesy and Ravegirl and will also be recording another tune once these have been completed.
After that, the next thing to do is to go in with T.C. and start a new project which will hopefully be released on T.C’s label, Whojamaflip Records.
Also I’m hoping to get back in the studio this year with Leigh Outrage and Denile to complete a couple more tracks that have been started by myself, Emma and Bleakboy.
Producing is something that I’d like to get into so will be learning Cubase as much as possible when I choose the correct PC to work on.
