It’s rough, it’s raw and its rock n’ roll. With a philosophy of what you hear is what you get, The Red Party Pirates are fast, funky and on fire. Formed in 2006 in a rural setting built on the foundations of the tobacco empire; Aaron Hill, Braden DeCooman, Ben Peria and Kevin Belanger have infused the roots of rural with the roots of rock, churning out tunes that not only sound good, but feel good. When your band name is inclusive of the word “partyâ€, people want to hear a soundtrack track to their nights of dancing and debauchery, the patio’s, the people and those times when you just need to let loose and we’re happy to say, you’ve come to the right place.
The Red Party Pirates have developed a strong southern Ontario following over our tenure as a band, earning us a nomination for “Best Rock Group†in this year’s London Music Awards, as well as being the Niagara College representative at the Canadian Organization of Campus Activities (COCA) Campus Music Explosion in 07’ & 09’. We’ve also had that opportunity to share the stage with some great Canadian artists along the way such as April Wine, Staylefish, The Joys, Billy the Kid and Wendell Fergusson.
We’ve released two bodies of work; The Bunker Sessions, a demo we released locally in 07’ and Forever Neverland, recorded at Orchard Studios, mastered at The Lacquer Channel in Toronto and released just in time for the summertime as a free download on our newly debuted website, therpp.ca.
As the summer rolls on, stay tuned for more from The Red Party Pirates as we continue to write, perform and release new material, introduce new merchandise and perform across Ontario and beyond. Make sure to keep your ears to the ground and check back often as we announce new summer concert dates in a town near you.
Enjoy!
