Two nights a week I get in a line with a dozen other hulky
guys and wait to go into a basement room at the HPER.
We wear large cotton robes, some blue, some white. People, sometimes,
walk down to the basement because they are lost, not beacuse
they come to judo. If you walk up the stairs to the 2nd/3rd story
you hear THOOM! THOOM!. Off in a basement, where no one
knows guys/gals are throwing, tossing, sweeping, tripping, lifting,
propping, grabbing. Thats judo, thats what I do. and people
think the THOOM THOOM isn't me landing on my neck, but bass
playing from somewhere in the building... go figure.
