About Me

It's R.I.P to the Funboys as we welcome in a new era as The Hammers. With only Pix & Eagle left out of the originals, a new name was a mark of respect for the old boys and resulted as a snap decision to the infamy we gained whilst under our old incarnation. So now in tribute not so much to West Ham but more so the salute to the Green Street Hooligans (and the GSC-esque players in our own team). After a short break from 6 a side following the heart breaking penalty shoot out lose in our last undefeated season, The Hammers are here. Here is the 2008 line up:
  • Eagleton: The ball has a magnet that attracts it to the big maan's noggen. Doesn't put up with razzle dazzle bullshit and makes The Hammers near impossible to beat in the air. Has some power in his shot that will cause attacking problems too.
  • Pix: Well what is there to say, he is like Hazem El Masri minus the boot, The Pix is the man who hangs out with football players.
  • Cameron: After several seasons with the boys now, Cameron has a great voice on the field and makes some fantastic saves too.
  • Sean: An integral presence on the field. Both his leadership and restrained aggression make him a tough customer not afraid of getting his hands sandy.
  • Clint(Willy) Defenders can't seem to get the ball away from his feet and sometimes not even team mates know exactly what he's getting up to. Plenty of tricks up his sleeve and always gives his all. Isn't backward in coming forward.
  • Joelene Really this man glides through the air with such grace he should be at the royal academy of ballet. Blistering pace and sublime skills.
  • Andy His pace will be of great benefit to the Hammers this year. A supremely fit customer with very deceiving skills on the ball.
  • Jake A great force in middle of the park who combines well with those around him. A furious shot and great passing skills, will take on more responsibility this time around.
  • Baz The only new addition to the side but already racked up plenty of game time with the rest of the team. So deadly quiet that he is already shooting on goal before anyone knows he is there. His positional play and array of skills will be key.
