Wes Hamrick delights audiences around the world with his unique and engaging piano performances. His career began at age fourteen in his native Florida with musical theater performances at Theatre on Park, a professional repertory theater in Winter Park, Florida. He was awarded a scholarship to attend the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati where he studied with pianist Richard Morris and later graduated with a degree in piano performance. His post-graduate work was at the University of Hawaii and with noted jazz pianist-composer James Drew.Whether playing classical music or jazz, Wes captivates his audience. His performances have taken him to destinations around the world from Moscow to Tokyo. He has performed with symphony orchestras, big bands and with a wide variety of entertainers and musicians throughout his career. Television appearances on Life Styles of the Rich and Famous and The Travel Channel have brought him world-wide recognition. Wes has been a featured artist on cruise lines including Norwegian Cruise Lines, American Hawaii Cruises and Cunard Cruise Line’s World Cruise.A favorite with Florida audiences, Wes performs regularly in the Klimt Rotunda at the Westin Grand Bohemian where he is Director of Entertainment. At other times, he can be found performing at music festivals and special events throughout the country.
