Myspace LayoutsI'm a 30 year old AV Events Engineer. I'm originally from Scotland but lived in Camden Town, London for the past 4 years. I'm currently living in Sydney, Australia with my beautiful girlfriend Julie. I'm a qualified Sound Engineer and run my own business and contract myself out to event companies as technical support for sound, lighting, show rigging, set building, data and I.T. Most of the work is for corporate conferences, award ceremonies, fashion shows and can be heavy hours but I love my job and wouldn't change it for the world. My other big passion is music. I started off sound engineering in studios and small live venues but quickly realised that the money was crap and that it takes miracles to break out and make a career from it but music will never leave your heart, I have a small studio set up at home and I play a enough of guitar and keyboard to produce my own sounds. I also love music history and read books and watch documentries of the musicians and producers of days gone by, such as inspirational characters like Andrew Loog Oldham, Martin Hannett, Tony Wilson, John Peel etc.
