Music has always been my passion and although I'm born in 1981, the late 70's and early 80's have my biggest interest (I blame that to my sisters who's 9 years older than me).That passion for music has translated in a few years of DJ-experience. First in a Youthclub, later in larger goth-clubs in Belgium (The Black Cave, Electrogeneration).As me and my girlfriend are expecting our first baby at the end of this year, I am transfering my DJ work from clubs to the internet. Now I'm already hosting 2 weekly shows on www.gothville.com and I'm working on a new series of shows on a more irregular schedule.For those who want to book me for their party: you can see earlier playlists + an overview of my DJ-sets on my personal wesbite (www.freewebs.com/blackwaver). More recent playlists will be posted here in the blog-section of this MySpace.Besides this active music-experience, I'm also writing reviews for Dark Entries (www.darkentries.be), which is a Belgian webzine, specialized in dark music (gothic, wave, EBM,...).Next to music, I'm starting with photography. Art has always been one of my favorite interests as I am a huge fan of Dali and the impressionists. A friend of mine is doing some urban exploration and he haw woken up some 'shivers' in me to follow this path of industrial photography. Soon, the result of my first exploration will be online on this page...Any questions? Don't hesitate to contact me!

My Interests

This is quite obvious I think: music (wave, gothic, electro and EBM), photography (urbex) and Salvador Dali

I'd like to meet:

1. Bands! I hope to be able to build up a network of bands to contact for specials on the radio2. Fellow DJ's! I'm very interested in the scene's evolution throughout the borders of other countries. DO Americans listen to the same gothic-bands as we do in Belgium? What about the Italians and the Dutch?3. Friends in the scene! If I'm on holidays abroad, I always try to pick a party-venue, so I'm not bored. That's why I try to add a lot of people, who can maybe help me out in the future in that matter.4. Beautiful people! As I'm starting in photography, I will be looking for models in the future. Off course, this is not on a professional basis! Note: beauty does not equal Barbie and Ken! Bueaty for me is someone that is happy with the way he / she looks. Beauty is what you make it!

Music:

This is a list without end... It goes from the old new wave, punk and EBM to the newer electro and darkwave... My favorite bands? Calva Y Nada, Nick Cave, Tool, PNE, Dive Destruction, Suicide Commando, Tactical Sekt, Elesde, Cinema Strange, Combichrist, Virgin Prunes, Prager Handgriff and many, many more bands that I follow!

Movies:

I prefer the English humor of Monthy Python and The Young Ones. Further, I can enjoy obscure movies of David Lynch and Tarantino.I never go and watch the big 'hits' as I always return unsatisfied. People say it's a super-good movie, so you have great expectations. Result: bummer!!!!! So no Lord of the Rings or Star Wars for me!
