Philippe La PlastiQue, born the 28th March 1983. Childhood in Germany near Saarbrück. At the age of 6, settling down on the southwestern coast in France near Biarritz and San Sebastian. Grew up bilingual franco-german. His interest for electronic music came unconsciously through adoration of Michael Jackson as a teen, further through progressive trance parties in north Spain. During pharmacy studies in Bordeaux in 2002 he discovered Detroit techno @ "le 4 Sans" one of the best clubs in France. In 2003 he started mixing with this style. First performances were on parties of the technical faculty of chemistry near Metz (France). From 2004 to 2006 he was studying history of art at the university of Saarbrück, and regularly had gigs with local DJs (Primitive Visions, Audiodidakt, Electricity Festival 2005...) in many locations in Saarbrück, some in Francfort with Pulsar Entertainment booking agency - www.pulsar-entertainment.de - and joined "Unter Druck" Label from internationaly known Djane Carla Blank, which is still in development. The Hardwax Recordstore in Saarbrück which owner is Roger 23 from Swayzak rec., mainly influenced his musical tendancies during this period and still does today. So it's deep Detroit and jazz influenced stuff he plays. Over 6 month he pursued a residency job @ Puls180 Cocktail Lounge in Saarbrück, which unfortunatly had to close the 27th August 2006. Since then he's running a fusion project between e-violin and deep electronic sounds with a very talented violonist named Simon Löwenberg.
