Im real as can be. Don't play games. E-mail me and see who I am.I know that I am far from perfect. I often use sarcasm as a defense mechanism. Even today I caught myself using it with someone that I care about. I guess I am afraid of being hurt. But who isnt? We all have our lessons. It's hardest dealing with the realization that unlike the diploma we can earn for graduating from school - there will never be an end to the lessons that life presents us with. There are rewards for persevering though.I struggle with living in the present. I have a deep desire to always create a better and happier existence, to feed my ever hungry ego and to keep my self-esteem on a swift motorized stairway to heaven. This lifestyle led me to live years of my life in a state of wishing and hoping and looking forward to sometime into a future that I may or may not HAVE. I caught myself shoulding all over myself and let me tell you it wasnt pretty. Here and now I am determined to happy in it. The skin that I am wearing and everything else that comes along with it. If I pick up a thing or two on my way into that unplanned and unknown future then... well Da'd Gum thats great!I am not proud. I can ask for forgiveness. I don’t feel entitled to anything in life. I know that if I want something, its up to me to go get it. I have initiative. If I am selfish, it is with my time. I live life in the present. I am a horrible liar. I gave up trying years ago. I am an emotional and expressive person. If I err, it’s on side of being too honest with my opinions. I know that I am not always right. If I am wrong, please tell me. I may not like hearing it, but tomorrow I will thank you.I love to take naps. But watch out, when I wake up I can be a little grumpy. I love shopping. I buy on impulse. I trust my judgement. Regret is the hardest emotion for me to deal with. I love to travel, but not alone. I enjoy life most when those that I love are with me. I have visited South America, the south pacific, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. I am not afraid to try new things. I have eaten goat brains. I have bartered in an Arabian souq. I have hiked the Andes mountains. I have smuggled araucaria seeds back home to plant in my garden. I have eaten shrimp heads. I have spent time in 3rd world hospitals. I have been held in a compound protected by military police. I have attended funerals spoken in Pidgeon. I never left California until I was 20 years old and I am making up for lost time.Work doesn't scare me. I thrive when I am challenged. I am ambitious but I keep my life in balance. I am physically fit. I lift weights every day at lunch. I run 25 miles a week. I enjoy mountain biking. I love hiking and trail running. I snowboard. I snowshoe.
