The Electric Kingdom began in the late nineties on 90.5 FM WVUM and was the one place in Miami to hear the new sound in electronic music. A sound that was growing all over the world and especially in Miami. With emerging labels like Schematic Records, Beta Bodega, Merck Records and Chocolate Ind. these artists had a place to call home and help promote this fast growing genre. In 2002 with the newly created web streams on wvum.org, this show was now available to the masses and grew in popularity. Many producers and DJs would request to come on and play their new tracks live for the world. In the past few years a lot of amazing talent came through to spread their love to miami ears.
