..................................It was many years ago when Shane began his love affair with music. On a beach in Noosa Australia he discovered bliss with a set of headphones… adding music to the setting sun. It wasn’t long before he started buying records. In the begining armed with a set of turntables and a handful of records Shane began sharing this new music on the beach in the afternoons.Many a lazy day in paradise this passion was explored and developed into a blend of the Balearic sound of Ibiza and latin bossa all spun with Certain laidbackness…if that indeed is an actual word.

A few years on DJ Shane …Aka… ‘Son of the Sea’ has become one very accomplished pervayor of beachy laidbackness and has received international recognition as a premier DJ..MAN of the world.He moved to Sydney in 2000 and found they had beaches there too. And they had Lounge bars…
So he walked in to Sydney’s most famous, Hemmesphere and began a long relationship that developed his special blend of exotic lounge and intimate smooth house sounds. He can still be found there nearly every week, popping on records for discerning locals and the odd visiting celebrity.Shane has also been responsible for the blissbomb weekly radio program on Bondifm now for over five years and has a reputation for providing the Sunday afternoon soundtrack for much of Bondi Beach and many an afternoon BBQ here there and everywhere,thanks to the internet.He has been featured as a guest DJ on the UK’s BBC Radio 1 and recorded a live set for the infamous radio station.
Also guest slots for Ministry of Sound London and on Ibiza Sonica in 2008But it was really only a matter of time before Shane started rocking dancefloors…He is fast gaining respect for his more up tempo DJ sets in Sydney and indeed around the world having now discovered the other side of his chilled out persona. He is finding himself behind the decks in many of the hottest spots, always lighting up the crowd with his Soul Filled, Uplifting House Music. His club sets are a journey from the beach house to the big room nightclubs getting lost in a funky storm of bass and tending towards the sounds of progressive where he feels most comfortable. The constant is always quality tunes that have had the tendency to lift roofs and hands across many continents.2008 he went off to take his sound to some of the biggest clubs in Italy for the summer and spend a month in Ibiza playing to sunsets all over the famous island.Contact Tables
