MICHAEL P. VALENTINE began Plan Lab in February 2003 and offered his style of “hands on” business planning to aspiring entrepreneurs throughout Cleveland, OH. After receiving a small investment to launch a separate endeavor, Valentine realized that he needed other ways to cover his living expenses. He eventually came to the conclusion that if he was able to visually convince someone of the feasibility of a business, he could put others in a position to do the same.

On April 13, 2006, a quorum of twelve Deans awarded Valentine with an Honorary Doctorate degree for his hard work and innovation in his field. Michael is a certified mediator and is an effective communicator and problem solver. He is a spokesperson for entrepreneurship and is an advocate for free enterprise. While in college, Michael founded Student Entrepreneurs United, which is a student run organization that encourages and assists students in starting small businesses.As of today, Valentine has had a hand in aiding hundreds of businesses launch throughout the U.S. and has had a hand in acquiring nearly “$600 million” dollars in resources for clients worldwide. In his spare time, Valentine teaches courses on business planning basics offered through Kent State University’s Entreprenurial Academy for residents of Cleveland’s Empowerment Zone.
