I really enjoy talking to and meeting people who are spiritually aware, as well as connected. I admire people who take care of, and love themselves. It's a sign of dedication, healthy self esteem amd self worth. I think when we give to much of ourselves, we attract people who take and take and take. Eventually there won't be anything left to take, unless we put ourselves first for the right reasons. It's called good boundaries people. I can't be around those who don't embrace change. They suck the life force out of me. I call them psychic vampires. We always seem to attract people who support the way we feel about ourselves at any given time in our lives. It's very educational and eye opening. When we love and take care of ourselves, we attract people who love and support us, which is a reflection of a healthy life. Being a victim isn't anyone's fault, but staying one is. Makes sense to me.
