I am here for Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

C-Space is a community center at Clark Ave. & West 44th that encourages innovative educational, artistic, social and political programming led by Clevelanders of all walks of life. We house and support projects that grow from the visions of Cleveland residents, especially those in Clark-Fulton, aiming to build grassroots leadership person by person, day by day.Currently, C-Space offers community resources like a computer lab with free Internet access, a library and community bulletin board, and a growing slate of programs. A full schedule of current programs is available at: www.clevelandspace.org.C-Space especially encourages projects that:- are initiated and run by a large variety of Greater Clevelanders, with an emphasis on residents of Clark-Fulton. - build relationships between Clevelanders who don’t normally get the opportunity to interact socially or work together. In particular, C-Space projects aim to challenge boundaries between people due to racism, sexism, homophobia and prejudice against others because of age, social status or religion. - are creative. - are educational, C-Space promotes person-to-person skill-sharing, in which any community member can hold workshops on skills they have that may be useful to others: from needlepoint, to basic algebra courses, to self-defense. - are motivated by the desire to build community and better individual’s lives, rather than to make a profit. - make efficient, environmentally-sound use of resources. - promote a do-it-yourself work ethic. - strengthen links between social service and social justice campaigns and everyday Clevelanders.** NEWS BULLETIN NOVEMBER 12, 06 - CHECK OUR BLOG!**
