The Martini Twins are Jazindra and Genieva Martini The identical twin sisters were born on October 30th, 1981 in the sleepy mining town of Bisbee, Arizona (the haunted little town was featured in Stephen king's 2006 movie "Desperation"). They were the youngest children of 6.....However, these aren't just your ordinary twins. Call it charisma, call it the X factor, call it what you wish. There's just something incredibly addictive about their look, their sound and their stage presence. They started singing at a very early age (6 yrs) and ever since then music has been a natural part of thier lives.When they were teenagers the twins had separate desires but even so they were always together. Genieva's interests were varied and chameleon-like. She was very active in journalism, and writing short horror stories. Even though they had a myriad of interests one thing was a constant...... music . Jazindra was the opposite and remained intently focused on Metal for the both of them. "I can remember this one day we were walking to school we were 11 and I said, would you be in a band with me, I'll play guitar and Genieva said I'll play bass and we both chimed in and we'll both sing!!" Since that day I knew no matter where Genieva strayed to she'd always come back to Metal and me. It's in our blood." During those last years before adulthood Jazindra remained focused on voice and she became obsessed with everything Metal. At the age of 18, she and Genieva sold Jazindra's one prized possession, an electric guitar, so they could afford a bus ticket to Phoenix, the biggest city in Arizona. That is where they did some odd jobs like swimsuit modeling. Their gambling nature and fearlessness match perfectly with the Metal mindset. Soon after, Genieva and Jazindra spent the next few years perfecting their voices and stage personas.In 2005 they gathered all of their belongings and bravely moved from Arizona to Los Angeles in pursuit of a record deal. Jazindra wrote all of the lyrics and music for their demo and they completed a rough copy which is posted on this site. They are currently hard at work in the studio, both re-mastering their demo and recording 20 new songs which are sure to become Metal masterpieces. They list Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Stratovarius, and Nightwish as just a few of their influences. Never before have their been two beautiful, identical, twin sisters in Metal. Rarely has their been one woman let alone two as talented vocally in the genre. They are destined for greatness.
