The lyrical Monster
In the American Dictionary, the word Hot is listed
as “having a high temperatureâ€. Due to the high mass of slang in
the Urban Hip hop community, the word Hot has a different meaning. The word hot
is defined in the hip hop world as an artist in which makes hits after hits, and
can reach the ears of other communities. Sometimes, in order to make hits, you
must have a story line. Growing up in an area known for its trouble (East New
York, Brooklyn) can lead to an excellent story line to make hits. But, having
strict parents can conflict with your ability to do a lot of things you want,
which’s cut the stories in half. The question remains, who is Tye Rich?
Tye Rich grew up in ENY. Having to deal with his strict
mother, kept Tye in the books and from going outside doing things normal kids
do. Because he couldn’t do much, Tye became really angry. He was an honor
student in school and never got in trouble. The only thing he wanted from his
mother was freedom. At the age of 11, he began to write rhymes to express how he
felt. But de didn’t take music really serious because he was more interested in
perusing a basketball career. At age 12, Tye couldn’t take the fact that he was
on lock down so he ran away from home.
After graduating from I.S. 162, he was accepted in the High
School of Legal Studies. He entered the school taking up all honors classes.
While watching Brooklyn’s own Jay-Z on T.V., influenced Tye to want to rap
more. When Tye entered 10 th grade, he joined his friends group
“Mount Rush More Entertainmentâ€. He began to record songs and take music
serious. After graduating from High School, Tye continued to follow
his music career. He also was caught with a gun charge which is currently
active. He also meet with Producer/A&R/Record Label Executive KB, to discuss
his music. Music Roster. Currently he is being developed as an artist. He is set to
hit the studio real soon. He will also be featured in some magazines, online
websites, and some DVDs. Look out for Tye Rich COMING SOON!
