-Describe myself? Hard to say...I suppose the only thing I can say for now is "a complicated person trying to live a simple life."
-People always ask me "what are you"? I prefer to say 100% Hapa (yay for mixed peeps). Or as my older sis likes to say, "he's half-Japanese, half-Korean, and all STUD ladies!" ack, that sounds sooooo cheesy...
-My friends say I have a very Jedi-like Zen mentality. Back in HS, they used to say that I was the one most likely to become a Buddhist monk (yeah, I've thought of it). I think I'd rather be a Jedi, haha. Trained in kendo...gimme a stick, and look out!
-Back then, they called me "Young Jedi", although more recently, my friends (and my older sis) call me "Fallen Jedi". My kendo skills aren't what they used to be (tons of injuries, ouch).
-I'm a BIG motorcycle fan. You'll usually see me jamming in SD (and between LA/SD) on my blue Kawi Ninja ZX6R. No, I don't drag-race (anymore)...my Biker Boyz days are long over. Did that for years...amazing that I'm still alive after all that, sheesh.
-Talk about irony...I don't dance, drink, smoke, do drugs, hit on girls (my gf and sis would shoot me!), talk (much), or do any of the other things that most people do at clubs. Yet, I'm a Visionshock promoter, wat?! So yeah, you'll usually see me with my "magic promoter bag" full of neat little Japanese/Korean treats (yay!) at the SD and LA events.
-So what do I like about clubs? GREAT DJ-ING, GREAT MUSIC. The (only) thing I love about clubs is a good headliner DJ, like Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyke, Carl Cox, George Acosta, etc. I still remember hearing/watching Oakenfold spin house/trance at Ruby Skye in SF, and it was like an aureal tapestry...dayam...talk about skillz.
