About Me

Growing up in a family of musicians, the question was not whether Gavriel was going to play an instrument, but rather what instrument he was going to play. At the age of four Gavriel started playing the cello. The cello playing has greatly developed his ear and you can hear his classical training in his musical style. Gavriel mainly plays acoustic guitar and his sound has been compared to that of Damien Rice and Ray LaMontagne. He has played both internationally and throughout New York at venues such as The Knitting Factory, The Bitter End, Mo Pitkins, The Triad and several college campuses.
