He is graduated in 1998 as Piano Professor at the "Juan José Castro" Conservatory from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
He has studied composition with Alfredo Otero and piano, tango style, with Beba Pugliese.
Since his graduation he continued studying piano with Aldo Antognazzi, Beba Pugliese and composition with Alfredo Otero and Luis Mucillo.
Since 2000 Javier Tucat Moreno lives in Berlin.
Between 2004 and 2009 he was the musical director, pianist and arrangeur of the tango ensemble Cantango Berlin.
He plays since 2007 in the Orquesta de Tango "Qué Tangazo!".
