3GZ Productions was born after Iris and Franceasca met in graduate
school at MIU. They wanted to fill a void in "the business" by forming a
unique production company committed to making independent films
inspired by generations of music and underground culture.
Iris B. Cegarra, producer, director, editor, stylist is based out of
Miami, Florida. She has been dedicated to film and video production for
over 6 years. She began her career under the name Moloko Pussycat
Factory and started researching the music of the underground rave scene
for her documentaries Electro Dziska & Bass Frequency, which has been
showcased globally. As Mi Chica Chico Force, Iris has brought old
school talent together such as Egyptian Lover, Jealous J & Jock D and
AUX 88 for acclaimed electro events. Darkbeat, an electro world
voyage documentary, currently premiered and is now in film festival
circulation. Iris received her Masters in Film from Miami International
University of Art and Design.
Franceasca Seiden, producer, director, writer, photographer is a
native Miamian. She has shown her fine art photographic work on both
coasts while working as an assistant curator to a local contemporary
photography gallery. After graduating with her Bachelors of Fine Arts
Degree in photography she pursued her career in production by
becoming the personal assistant to a New York based feature film
director/writer. She then began working at the Entertainment Industry
Incubator, a local non-profit organization dedicated to the growth of the
South Florida entertainment community. Franceasca co-produced
MVC04 (Music Video Challenge) and Collaboration 7...A Short Film
Contest. She has written, directed, and produced three short films; Out of
Sync, The Theater, and Wicked Garden, which is now in development to
become a feature film. Franceasca received her Masters in Film from
Miami International University of Art and Design... -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Copied from MySpace.com --
