About Me

..Executive Producer, Director and Writer, Dale Stelly of Stelly Entertainment, has recently (2007)shot and wrapped on location in Los Angeles, three Independent films with new producing/directing partner, KC Amos. The three films are “Strawberries For The Homeless”, “Tamales & Gumbo”, and "Hauntsville" which individually stars Vida Guerra,Larry H. Jacobs, Tiny "Deebo" Lister and John Amos(James from Goodtimes)to name a few. Dale has worked with top names in the Industry, whether in music video, commercial, television and/or film. Shot on 35 millimeter and HD, to present date, Dale has numerous film credits; “The Sweep, Single Black Female, Unemployed, Chain'd, JC In The Hood, Dead Body, Welfare to Millionaire, Choices II, Short Fuse, BlackLove, Tha Crib, Sweet Potato Pie, Voodoo Tailz and Aces”.Next on the slate: “Pain”, “Floss Angeles”, “It’s Going Down” & “Stonerville.”As a Los Angeles native, Dale attended California State University Dominguez Hills and studied mass communications, he has always been comfortable behind the camera, working in all aspects of film and video production. It all began in 1995 when Dale accepted an unrecognized crew position on a music video for Outburst Records, produced by Pop Art Film Factory featuring westcoast Rap duo B.G. Knockout and Dresta. He was the first on the set and the last to leave. The entry position wouldn’t seem like much to the outside world, but for Dale, it was the best place to start for a young aspiring Director.Thereafter, he made himself available to various Directors. When they needed extra talent, cars and locations, Dale was the first to run out and make it possible. Over the next several months, the Producers/Directors saw that Dale was one who could produce at a moments notice and in no time, Dale was promoted. While attending Cal State Dominguez Hills, he worked his way up from a Production Assistant. He was then moved up to 2nd Assistant Director and later, to 1st Assistant Director. Dale had mainly focused on directing music videos at the early point in his career, but as of now and certainly not surprising, Dale has added numerous commercials, TV pilots and feature films to his directing, producing and writing credits.Dale also obtained a demanding job at Eastman Kodak’s post production facility; Cinesite Digital Studios located in Hollywood, CA.,employed from 1995-2003 where he started as a production assistant and ended his last job position as a Digital Scanning and Recording Operator. At Cinesite Digital Studios, Dale learned all aspects of pre-production, production and post-production on the expense of the multi-billion Hollywood studio system. After many successful freelance music video shoots with positions ranging from Production Assistant to Assistant Director and still working a fulltime nightshift at Cinesite Digital Studios. Dale decided it was time to branch out on his own. He then formed Stelly Entertainment in 1998 on a part-time basis. In mid-2003 Dale was given the golden opportunity to run his production company fulltime and to this present date of 2007, Dale has relocated his production company to the heart of Hollywood, CA. running his company full steam ahead. My business website and Imdb profile: www.DaleStellly.com, www.imdb.com/name/nm1115341Home | Browse | Search | Invite | Film | Mail | Blog | Favorites | Forum | Groups | Events | Videos | Music | Comedy | Classifieds ..
