Shokaze

Christopher Joseph Lamb “SHOKAZE”Born March 27, 1983 at the landmark St. Josephs Hospital in Central Phoenix, AZ “Shokaze” clearly is the heart of the city. Born to a single mother family with typical low income “Shokaze” was introduced to the game at an early age. “My mom used to slang so I didn’t have to do that” “I was the protection like I’ve always been anyone who knows me knows that”. With no father at an early age “Shokaze” turned to his uncle BJ the old school DJ for musical influence. “My uncle helped me stay off the streets I was too busy listening to old school Rap”. “I used to beat box at like 10 years old and, it just transitioned to rap”. I did school but school didn’t do me Hip-Hop has always been a consistent thing in my life”. Since the age of 19 “Shokaze” has been apart of the AZ scene being known for his dominate freestyles and lyrical advancement. “Shokaze” has performed at several venues throughout Arizona. With the anticipated release of his first album “AZ Depression” The streets and industry have their ears to “Shokaze”.
