1999 - chris & pearl meet. based in grenoble, the band's called S.W.A.Y
2002 - a 6-tracks demo is recorded home. it includes boydemongirl / honey maya /
my evangelist / isomeone / connecting the dots / oriental pond
2004 - a 5-tracks demo is recorded (home again). it includes starsuckers /
trapped in the traffic of a soulless city / hiatus / offside / one trip/oneway.
2005 - S.W.A.Y. moves to rennes and is joined by sylvain and lo
2006 - S.W.A.Y. becomes POLAR SPARK. a first gig is played on the 21st of june in rennes.
2007-jan - POLAR SPARK records a 6-tracks demo at the NOMAD studio in marseilles. it's produced and engineered by ju sayegh (ficus).
2007-feb - POLAR SPARK is invited to support Hippolyte Luka's album launch gig, on the 8th of feb at the Jardin Moderne in rennes. they're joined, for this event, by stephan (13th hole's drummer) and jeremy who'll head up the rhythmic section.
this one-night-only collaboration turns out so well that POLAR SPARK is now glad to count a fourth member in the band: jeremy
2007-march - our yet untitled demo is currently mixed and mastered by ju sayegh.
2007-nov - POLAR SPARK is playing at the nice jazz bar "le chat'bada" in st maloand finally, all the places in the band are taken. our finest drummer mats accepts to take the stool.
