Bio:
I reside and grew up in East Pilsen (formerly known as Prague) on the near South West side of Chicago.
Pilsen Facts:
The Pilsen community is located south of the UIC campus. Pilsen's historic boundaries were 16th Street on the north, the curving Chicago River to the south, Western Avenue to the west and Halsted to the East but has now by definition has expanded to include the area east of Halsted which was originally called Prague and now has become East Pilsen. Pilsen served as a port of entry for many immigrant groups that have come to Chicago seeking work and a better life, Germans and Irish in the mid to late 1800's followed by a huge wave of Slavs from the Austro-Hungarian empire principally of Bohemia (now the Czech Republic) but also of Croatian, Slovak, Magyar and Slovene descent from the 1870s onward. Small communities of Poles, Belgians, Italians and Lithuanians also made there home here. During the late 1960s, Mexican and some Italian families moved into the neighborhood when they were displaced from the building of the university directly north. This trend
accelerated as Mexican immigrants surged into the area in the 1970s, when Latinos became the major ethnic group. Today the new growing Art District community in East Pilsen, formerly Prague, is slowly making its way to West Pilsen. There are now less Latinos in East Pilsen

There is a point in your life, when you realize who really matters, who never did, and who always will
Telecommunications Major/Part-time music producer. My goal is to continue my education, enjoy a fruitful career as well as grow in the music production industry and see how far it takes me
I epxressed interest in music at a young age and taught myself to play piano. Had a short summer career at the infamous old Maxwell Street market selling fruit under a hot blazing Sunday sun and bought my first keyboard a Sears Casio. Didnt join the DJ path career as many of my friends did, but creating music on a piano was as equally entertaining, made music that will bring tears to many eyes due to the horrendous sounds of a kid that still needed a lot of practice. The equivalent of someone learning how to play a trumpet or a flute (ouch). Years later, my dad bought me an Ensoniq 16+ Plus and now I was cooking with gas. I created "Tell Me Why" with this machine as well as other small projects.
In the late 80's early 90's house, hiphouse, and Freestyle music was in style in cities like Chicago, New York and Miami, played on the midnight dance mixes via local stations B96, WCRX 88.1 FM, and my old friend Harv Roman's Freestyle Sunday Show WCYC 905. FM his link is located below.
Had a great opportunity to meet and work with Onofrio Lollino, L.A.W., Legacy, Exotic Love, Luis Salgado and Julio Rodriguez in the 90's and 2000's on music tracks and expiremental vocal projects. Some of these projects also included Lazaro Cerdan..located in my friends links below as "Max Entertainment" in 2000 at "MaximoMusic" as well as early in the early 1990's in my basement in Pilsen with Lazaro, Legacy group,
Girls Do It Just for Fun
and L.A.W,(sing One More Chance for Love) and finally Exotic Love (Josie & Elsie singing Tell Me Why) with a great harmonizing vocal sound. I used to drive my mom crazy with all these people at varies times in my basement in a small 6x6 room full of electronics. Good Times!
Worked with Onofrio Lollino "SOS Records" to record "I can't Go On" before the existence of SOS Records.
Onofrio produced Short Dick Man among other classics believe it or not, we auditioned Gillette the singer of Short Dick Man before she made that song for a singing freestyle project we worked on. I will post that track once I locate it.
Great memories, experiences, participating and involved in the concerts at the OAK Theatre, Fiesta Del Sol, and Studio 63 (Formely called Prime&Tender)
I am currently working on new projects while balancing family, work, and school. Stay Tuned.
