Hello, my name is Sylvain Doucet. I'm a French-Canadian (Québécois) screenwriter from Montréal, Québec, Canada.
I began studying screenwriting in 2003 and I’ve been guided and encouraged by my two mentors who are directors and University screenwriting teachers. Since then I have written 12 screenplays in standard French.

At the end of 2005 I learned English to translate my film scripts/screenplays. With the help of a few good friends from Canada, United-States, Australia and United-Kingdom I was able to create very accurate translations in American English and British English.

The topics I deal with are original, and I try to broach them in an original way. All my scripts could easily be adapted, with only a few modifications, to suit the country and the culture of those who will choose to produce them. Most of them would need only a low production budget.
My goal is presently to find film producers and / or directors who could be interested in reading my scripts.
