Fred Taylor and INQUEST

About Me

Originally a trio formed in 1976 by Fred and Gary, Inquest was re-born in 2000 as a quartet. All four players have extensive experience in the music business, having been fixtures on the Seattle-area music scene for many years, playing with both local and national acts live and in the studio. All four players are also private instructors.
The first album by Fred Taylor and Inquest, entitled 'Processional', was released on December 15, 2006. This highly-anticipated CD features eight very different and interesting instrumentals, including three by Fred and one by Gary. Reviews can be read at: www.fredtaylormusic.com/recordings/record reviews
In 1982, leader Fred Taylor released the album 'Court of Circe', which featured 6 original works by Fred, Craig, and other Northwest musicians. This acclaimed work received good reviews and airplay worldwide.
'Processional' and 'Court of Circe' are available on CD Baby and the Fred Taylor Music website.
Inquest is on hiatus while Fred is living in West Orange, NJ and performing with local musicians. See www.myspace.com/fredtaylordrummer for the latest news.
