Influences: Felnando Lewis, now more popularly known as Fella Million, was born on the island of Nevis on February 5, 1983 where he spent his primary childhood years. At the age of 10 he left Nevis and relocated to St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands. Throughout the course of his years Fella began gaining an interest in music; an interest that developed with courage, and a great deal of influence by local, Caribbean and mainland artists. In 1999, at the age of 16, he entered the VI Carnival Committee’s Junior Calypso Competition as the “Mighty Fella” capturing the title as the 1999 Junior Calypso King. Upon capturing the title Fella began to write more and really became involved in honing his skills. The following year he defended and retained his title becoming the 2000 Junior Calypso King. However, he soon gained an interest in a new style of music – Hip Hop - and Fella gave Calypso an early retirement.The passion he found for Hip Hop and R&B music was as if there were no other musical forms out there. Focusing on perfecting the music, Fella worked day and night to master his sound and writing skills. Feeling confident Fella Million auditioned with his newly formed rap group 2 Much to be a part of Star Fest 2001, which at the time was one of the biggest talent showcases in the VI. Fella and the group were chosen along with many other talented acts to perform. The show was a big success and Fella decided to take his music to a more professional level. Moving on without the group he began doing a lot more writing, working and saving to schedule studio time. In late 2001 he recorded his first smash hit burning up the islands’ airwaves with “Who is He?" Fella kept giving the islands hits after hits and continues until today. Fella Million has now created a name for himself through a series of hit songs, commercials, collaborations, music videos, interviews, album appearances, and much more.Fella Million is now preparing for his new music video titled, “Take You for a Ride” and is seeking sponsorships toward its completion. Fella Million will undoubtedly be one of this territory’s and music industry’s most respected artists of the future. People, get accustomed to this name because this “Fella” is definitely one in “Million”.
