Divine Harmony

Divine Harmony is a living testimony of what God can do for those who choose to accept His calling. Although this talented group of young ladies came from different areas such as New York, Puerto Rico, Zimbabwe, and Texas, they all met in college at Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Tx.
Originally, they started out as a pure a capella group, however, as the ministry has grown, so has their talents. They thrive on originality and the majority of the pieces performed are written by a member, a collaboration of the group, or original work written especially for them.
Divine Harmony released their debut album entitled "Waiting For You". The album shows the diversity of the group including many different genres of music as well as a capella music.
"So often, gospel music is relegated to an area just below the radar of true music lovers because for so long specific instruments and musical styles defined the genre. Many determined to reach a broader audience, have abandoned hard and fast rules to tell their own stories about a spiritual relationship with God. Divine Harmony has continued this new tradition and added their own special flavor of soul, hip-hop, and Latin rhythms. With their release, Waiting For You, this gospel sextet from North Texas delivers a solid debut."

Divine Harmony's goal is to "help finish the work God called us to do." They also want to show young people that praising God is exciting because God loves each and everyone of us no matter what background or past mistakes...He is waiting for you to come as you are and surrender your life to Him!
