Introducing Chenelle, DMV's R&B Sensation. Her roots are deeply seated in hotlanta where she was born on 7/17/1987 and lived until the age of thirteen. She now resides in the Metropolitan DC area with her parents and older brother Trenton, who is a very talented producer.
Chenelle's vocals can be felt within ones spirit. The music, lyrics, and vocals become one yet transcend from the young to the old. Her music has a vision for the future and it is a blend of R&B, Hip Hop and Pop that stirs the soul. Chenelle has been singing since the age of five. She grew up performing at various talent shows and showcases trying to gain as much experience as possible in her music and in being an overall entertainer.
Chenelle says that her goal is to become a household name in the music and entertainment industry. "I am very dedicated when it comes to my music and I believe that all the hard work will pay off in the end". "On second thought, why call it hard work when it is something you love doing". "Moving up to D.C. caused me to mature and learn a lot about the realities of life itself which are heard in my lyrics". "I try to focus on topics that others can relate to or need to hear about."
Though Chenelle loves to sing, write, and record in the studio, she loves performing live most of all. "I really enjoy performing live and watching the fans dance and move to my lyrical vocal tones and electrifying beats". "It means a lot to me to see someone feeling my music."
Chenelle has many goals she wants to achieve and many plans for 2009 and beyond. "My short term goal is to become the best at my craft". "In the long run, I am aiming to become a staple in the entertainment industry through albums, writing, movies, commercials, cosmetics, and fashion". "Mostly, I want to be a positive role model for others to look up to."
